Description Passport biological tests are best for the busy professional who would prefer documented results be received via mail for every test submitted. No stamp required and results are mailed back to you after every result, pass or fail. You’ll have the documentation you need should you be visted by the Health Department. Each test envelope contains strips containing bacterial spores which are placed in your dry heat or steam sterilizer when you run a load. Once completed, send the sterilized strips via the handy postage paid envelope to a lab for analysis. You’ll receive results in 7-10 days via mail for each test submitted. Save the results in a folder and you’ll be ready for any inspection. How often do you need to test? The answer will depend on which state you are in. Most states require monthly testing, however, some may be more often and some may be bi-annually. Should your test fail, you will receive a phone call from Crosstex/SPS staff and you’ll receive a physical lab report detailing the failure.
