This clapper from The Gypsy Quilter is made of hardwood. Simply hold in place on top of your freshly pressed seam for a few seconds to draw out the heat and give your seams a nice crisp finish. Pressing can be done with or without steam. This clapper is 11-1/2in long, 2-5/8in at its widest end, and 1-3/4in at its narrowest end. It is 1-1/4in thick.
