Rayon graphite felt is a premium refractory insulation designed and manufactured for high-temperature vacuum and inert gas furnaces, among other applications. Our rayon felt is available in carbon and graphite grades that have been pre-fired / heat-treated to promote consistent insulation performance, higher purity, and reduced ash content. Felt grades can be purified to less than 20 ppm if needed. Material is rated for temperatures up to 5432℉ (3000℃). Our rayon graphite grade is pre-fired to 4532℉ (2500℃), whereas our rayon carbon grade is pre-fired to 3452℉ (1900℃).Rayon Vs Pan Felt Rayon felt is a premium soft insulation material that is manufactured from 100% rayon-based fiber precursor.
