Aberfeldy’s main claim to fame is as the heart of the excellent Dewar’s blend, with its 12 Year Old single malt being a clean and polished introduction to this Highland distillery. On the nose: fresh fruit, toast, honey and cereal. On the palate: a smooth honeyed texture with notes of pear, melon, malt, fudge, vanilla, oak and sweet spice. On the finish: ginger, malt, nutty nougat and a hint of grapefruit zest. A full flavoured, rich, well balanced single malt.   40%
