When she took a quilting class in the early ´90s, she fell in love. Once she felt proficient in traditional methods of quilting, she began to make art quilts. Eventually, Becky developed her own approach to appliqué, a technique she calls Innovative Appliqué. Innovative Appliqué increases accuracy and productivity and eliminates time-consuming tasks typically associated with most appliqué methods. In order to demonstrate her new technique, Becky needed original designs. This need caused Becky to begin to create the wonderful, artistic designs that she has become known for.
