The majestic game bird. Grouse have a very strong and distinctive flavour and accordingly are a British seasonal kitchen classic. Prized for their delicate, gamey and unique flavour, these birds are sourced from British shoots and are best cooked rare and served with a good, heavy red wine. Will arrive trimmed and ready to cook. As stock is limited due to a reduction in the number of shoots operating in the UK, this product may previously have been frozen. Cook and eat within 4 to 5 days of delivery. Do not refreeze. Each bird is typically 300g but weights may vary. May contain shot.
